We offer a range of aerial and ground
performances for festivals, corporate events
and parties. Our shows can also be taken
into schools through Theatre in Education
Programs.
Aerialize is the high flying aerial
acrobatic company, specialising in stunning
swinging Trapeze, spinning Spanish Web,
aerial Ballet and dramatic Silk and Rope
drops. Your guests will also witness
breathtaking feats from our acrobats,
stilt-walkers, hula hoopers, jugglers and
clowns. And of course our contortionists
will be bending over backwards to ensure
your next function has the WOW factor to be
the most successful ever!
Our acts give your function or event a
truly stylish and unique edge. We provide
aerialists, aerial shows, stunning stilt
walkers, contortionists, hula hoop artists,
acrobats, jugglers and jesters. Each of our
shows and characters can be tailor made for
your event. Aerialize has public liability
insurance and works with certified workcover
riggers. Aerialize has been providing aerial
and ground entertainment since 1999.

perform at all the major venues in Sydney
and Australia and have performed in Europe
and south east Asia.
Aerialize performers have appeared in
Mission Impossible II, Uncle Toby TVC, NAVY
TVC (UK, US), Splenda TVC (US), Ikea print
ad, Foxtel TV1 Summer identity 2008 and an
AFI short film.
The Aerialize training institute has
appeared on Sydney Weekender, Mornings with
Kerri-Anne, ABC J TV, Nickelodeon, Girl TV
and in the Hi 5 Travelling Circus DVD.
Aerialize has performed live in the Sydney
Festival on the Opera House steps with
Spanish company Les Comediens, In the 2000
Sydney Olympic Opening Ceremony, Dance Trax
- the Studio, Adelaide Fringe Festival,
Hoopla - Darling Harbour Circus and Street
Theatre Festival, Cockatoo Island Festival,
The Great Escape, Playground Weekender, We
Love Sounds, Sleeze Ball and at the National
Australian Circus Conferences.
Aerialize instructors are currently training
performers from the Wiggles and Hi 5.
Our preferred rigging height is 8 metres or
higher though we are flexible and some acts
can work as low as 4 metres. Rigging points
need to be rated to ½ ton and in some
circumstances 1 ton. We work with licensed
and approved Workcover riggers at all
events.

AERIAL ACTS

Aerial Tissue
The artist twists, turns and drops
between twin sets of fabric
suspended from the ceiling. This
stunning and dramatic act is a
mixture of aerial ballet, acrobatics
and very impressive drops.
Minimum rigging height is 5m.
Preferred height 8m. Ground area min
2m2. One rigging point per tissue
with a minimum 1 tonne rating.

Aerial Ballet
Using the tissue, two or more
artists work on the fabric both in
the air and on the ground in a
synchronized dance, twisting and
turning high above the ground.
Minimum rigging height 5m. Preferred
height 8m. Ground area min 2m2. One
rigging point per tissue with a

ton rating.

Spanish web
The artist climbs to the top of a
rope and attaches her hand and/or
her foot to a loop and is spun
around in a spectacular fashion.
This is a high energy act.

1ton rating.

Aerial ring
A steel ring is suspended from the
ceiling and the artist gracefully
moves around it in an elegant and
dynamic display of aerial
acrobatics.
Minimum rigging height 4m. Ground
area min 2m2. One rigging point per
ring with a minimum ½ ton rating.

Triple Trapeze
A trapeze, which is three people
wide with 3 artists supporting and
catching each other and moving
together to create a beautiful and
synchronized routine.
Minimum rigging height 6m. Preferred
height 8m. Four rigging points per
trapeze rigged 600mm apart with a
minimum 600kg rating each.

Swinging trapeze
The artist pushes the swing to a
great height then performs dynamic
and daring release tricks.
Two rigging points 600mm apart

Static trapeze
The artist twists, turns and drops
around the bar and the ropes using
strength and agility.
Minimum rigging height 4m. Preferred

Doubles trapeze
This is a dynamic and enthralling
act with two acrobats high in the
air catching and supporting each
other.

Corde-Lisse
A cotton rope is suspended from the
ceiling. The artist climbs, drops
and entwines themselves in the rope.

Cloud Swing
The artist stands on a single length
of rope and pushes it to a great
height whilst performing daring
release tricks.

Human Chandelier
A beautiful act with three or more
artists working together creating
amazing images on a spinning ring
which looks like a chandelier.

Double Ring
Two rings suspended one above the
other with the two artists moving
gracefully between them, or two
artists on the one ring supporting
and catching each other.

Two artists moving together and
catching and supporting each other

The artist is connected by bungy
cord to a harness and drops off the
trapeze flipping gracefully in the

GROUND ACTS

Contortion
Captivate your event goers with our
incredibly bendy contortion duo.
This act begins with the two
contortionists working separately,
twisting and contorting themselves,
performing acrobatic miracles in a
syncronised routine. Then their
bodies start to entwine as they
support and fly on one another.
Approx- 5min
The contortion act is available as a
solo or duo performance.
Minimum ground area required for act
is 4m squared.
Roving contortion is available,
subject to the ground surface of the
venue. |

Hula Hoops
This act includes a vast compilation
of hula-hoop skills to present an
exciting, energetic and skilful
performance. One to ten sparkling
hoops are spun, twisted, and thrown
to create a highly entertaining show
for the spectators. However, it can
also be an interactive show,
involving people from the audience,
giving them a chance to show off
their skills. You can book hula
artists to provide a 5-minute show
or to do roving entertainment during
an event.

Juggling
Our performers have a range of
juggling skills to delight your
guests. The solo juggler will use
clubs and balls to show off a range
of skills with a theatrical flair.
Or our duo jugglers can entertain
you with club passing and hilarious
antics. We can offer a short
performance to music or roving sets
to brighten your event.

Dazzling Fire
Dancers
The dazzling fire dancer/s create
brilliant visuals to greet your
guests against the backdrop of the
night sky. Watch in amazement as the
fire dancer/s twists and turns
amongst the flames. See how they
gracefully spin and move fire around
their body.

Minimum ground area required: 4x4m
Fire is best performed in an outdoor
environment. Many venues have fire
alarms, which need to be disengaged
if you choose to have fire dancers

Acrobatics Duo
A male and female paired performance
which combines balances, dynamic
skills, tumbling and choreographic
elements. The acrobats use
flexibility and strength to display
powerful lifts and formations. This
act creates a spectacular
performance for the audience with
the unique acrobatic skills created
by the lifter flyer.

STILTWALKERS
At Aerialize, we offer a range of
wonderful stilt walking characters
to entertain your guests for meet
and greet or themed occasions. Your
venue needs to have ceilings high
enough for a 3m person to walk about
in. Our characters are stunning,
fun, vibrant and even scary. Please
see the following list of different
characters we offer.
Stilt characters can grant wishes,
blow bubbles, spin hula hoops, twirl
fire or dance with feather boas.

Fun and vibrant Can Can girls on
stilts spinning hula hoops and being
cheeky with feather boas. They will
entertain your guests by their
cheeky behaviour and by generally

mermaids look stunning with their
flowing long hair and shell skirts

Birds Aflight!
Three large eggs roll onto the scene
and out hatch three brightly
coloured baby birds. The newborn
chicks climb up onto the trapeze
learning to fly. An evil bird of
prey swoops down and scares the
chicks from their perch. These birds
are being observed by two very funny
and rather silly bird watchers (twitchers).
The Twitchers perform high rope acts
whilst trying to get a bird’s eye
view of their favourite species.
Performed on an outdoor rig, Birds
Aflight! includes triple trapeze,
aerial silk, aerial ring, Spanish
web and swinging trapeze.
Logistics and Rigging: 30
minute show. Free standing outdoor
rig is provided and a 12m square
grass space is needed. (Can be
adapted for indoors) Bump in is one
day prior and bump out 4 hours.

A
King on Stilts
Welcome to the Kingdom of Binn,
ruled over by the honourable King
Birtram. After working hard all day,
King Birtram likes to play on his
Stilts. The Evil Droon, the King’s
advisor, doesn’t believe Kings
should have fun, so she steals the
stilts and locks up the King’s page
girl, Erica. Unable to carry on
without Erica or his Stilts the King
falls into despair and the Droon,
aided by the Royal Guards rises to
power. Brave Erica, escapes and retrieves
the stilts. When the King, Erica and
his Stilts are reunited, the Droon
is locked away. Once again
everything is right in the Kingdom
of Binn.
A delightful story for the whole
family, based on the Dr Seuss story
‘A King’s Stilts’. This show
includes triple trapeze,
stiltwalking, stilt trapeze,
contortion, Spanish web, aerial ring
and tissue.
Logistics and Rigging: 30
minute show. Minimum height is 8
metres. Ground space of at least 12m
required. Set pieces include a large
cupboard, throne and birdcage. Bump
in and tech run 1

Superheroes
Lois Lane attempts to get the
perfect shot for her newspaper The
Daily Planet. She climbs up high for
a better view but falls and gets
tangled. Luckily, Superman hears her
cries and swings to her rescue. In
an amazing and beautiful double
tissue routine he delivers Lois to
safety.
Cat Woman and Wonder Woman are out
to prove themselves. The two super
women begin demonstrating their
prowess and super flexibility,
twisting, contorting and performing
acrobatic miracles. Gradually their
bodies start to entwine, and they
support and fly on one another.
The evil Joker has stolen the loot
and is trying to escape. Suddenly a
Super-Girl arrives and attempts to
fight him but she is overcome and
climbs the rope to get away. The
Joker spins her around in a daring
and dramatic display of aerial
artistry. A second Super-Girl
arrives, and together the two of
them defeat the Joker!
Logistics: 25 minute show.
Minimum height is 6 meters. Ground
space of 4m squared needed. Bump in

Poseidon - King
of the Sea
This is an aerial show performed
entirely over a 50m swimming pool.
Poseidon debuted at the Blacktown
Aquatic Centre as part of the
Blacktown City Council Festival
2004.
Based on Greek mythology, the story
shows the power struggles between
the Goddess of War; Athena and the
God of the Sea; Poseidon, in a
unique aerial and theatrical
production. Poseidon steals Athena’s
fire causing the gods to become
locked in war and affecting the
lives of citizens of Athens. The
mortals create a contest between the
gods in order to bring peace back to
the city.
Highlights of the show include,
Poseidon diving from the aerial
tissue into the pool, and a sailor
being thrown into the sea on a
flying fox. Audiences will witness
flying horses, Athena’s handmaidens
on the triple trapeze and a sailor
swinging from the cloudswing, aerial
silks, aerial ring, and fire
dancing. The show includes laser
light special effects by Light
Design Australia and Chameleon
Lighting as well as glowing stilt
walkers and percussion by Circus
Solarus.
Logistics and Rigging: 1 Hour Show.
Minimum Height needed is 8m inside
an aquatic centre. Bump in takes two
days including evenings and bump out
is after the last show.
Cast- 16 aerial and stilt
performers.
Crew- 2 stage managers, 2 lighting

Circus Circus!
This is an entertaining and exciting
cabaret-style stage show devised for
clubs. First performed at the Ryde
Eastwood leagues club, Circus Circus
is a combination of fantastic circus
acts including the trapeze, spinning
hoops, aerial ring and tissue,
Spanish web as well as singing,
dancing, acrobatics and juggling
delights.
Logistics and Rigging: 25
minute show. Minimum height is 5
metres. Lighting and sound operator
needed.
Cast- 5 aerialists, 3
dancers, 3 musicians.

Aerial Cabaret
Aerial Cabaret sizzles with 1920’s
French style Moulin Rouge circus
characters. This is an entertaining
aerial cabaret show including bath
lady acrobatics, spinning hula
hoops, comic clowning, dramatic
aerial tissue, fast-paced Spanish
web as well as dancing and singing.
It is a fantastic show for both
indoor and out door venues.
Logistics: 25 minute show.
Minimum height is 8 meters. Ground
space of 6m squared needed. Bump in
1 day, inc tech run with bump out
same day.

Spinning Cowgirl
A 15 minute outdoor show performed
on a stand alone rig 6 metres high.
The show is a combination of dynamic
aerial acts including double
trapeze, Spanish web, aerial tissue,
acrobatics and contortion. Carlos,
the Mexican cowboy is trying to woo
the hearts of the cowgirls. He
serenades the girls on the trapeze
and shows off his strengths through
aerial acts and acrobatics.
Logistics and rigging: 15
minute show. 6 square metres of
ground space needed. Bump in
requires 4 hours and bump out is
same day.
Cast- 3 aerialists.
Crew- 1 rigger, 1 stage
manager.
