A non-profit incorporated association to promote circus & aerial theatre. We run quality, fun, imaginative workshops and performances in trapeze, rope and aerial skills, for adults and children.

Aerialize is an innovative theatre group that combines the art of dance, theatre, gymnastics and circus in an aerial environment. Aerialize have been thrilling local and international audiences with death defying feats of grace and beauty on the trapeze, rope and web. Aerialize have performed at numerous festivals and events such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics opening ceremony and the Ignite! Festival at Homebush Bay.

Aerialize was established in 1999 by Aimee Thomas and Shelalagh McGovern as a not for profit organisation which aims to promote circus and aerial skills in the community. Aerialize runs classes for adults and children all year round. Aerialize also provides special workshops and have worked with groups such as the Benevolent Society, Enmore TAFE and East Sydney TAFE. Aerialize has been the recipient of a number of Local Government grants from Marrickville and Leichhardt Council’s to provide aerial and circus workshops for the local community.

Aerialize also have a popular range of corporate entertainment acts for functions and special events. See our corporate acts section for more information.
